burst of cozy awesome
These came out so great that I just had to share them! When the box arrived it took me a few days to open it. When I first saw the quilts they took my breath away; these pieces of fabric were soooo sooo B. To see them cut and reassembled into a memory was a harsh jolt of reality. But then again, are we not in reality?
So, accepting that a life has passed, these quilts are just so awesome to me. It’s a way to give myself permission to deal with his ‘things.’ We have preserved in savable, cozy, meaningful art a way to keep a piece of what matters and to have a way to connect with B’s memory when we need to. It lifts my heart to find ways to remember and let go all in the same moment.
Hoping you all find what keeps you cozy; the pandemic is quite the storm.
Sending love,
NW
